The 3rd Annual Colin Maher Easter Egg Hunt was featured in the Cranford Chronicle on Friday March 8. The article described the event and the cause the Friends stand for. Registration Fliers will be distributed to all Cranford Schools the week of March 11-16.

This year's Annual Video Features an Education Campaign on "What is Ewing's Sarcoma" featuring Dr. Jeff Toretsky. The video also highlights the 2012 Easter Egg Hunt. The Friends of Colin have announced the 3rd Annual Colin Maher Easter Egg Hunt will take place on March 23rd 2013. The Hunt will again be hosted at Hanson Park and check-in will begin at 10:30 with the start beginning promptly at 11am. Registration can be completed online, through email, by paper registration form or on the day of.

The 2012 Research Donation was given to Dr. Toretsky at the Georgetown University Medical Center. Dr. Toretsky was deeply interested in the Friends' background and was more than happy to be interviewed about Ewing sarcoma. Footage from the interview will be used in an upcoming video as part of the Fall Awareness Campaign. We cannot thank him enough for the work he is doing in the field.

Numerous teams came out to compete in the Friends of Colin Soccer Tournament. Despite the competition, everyone had a great time as they helped fight Ewing sarcoma. T-shirts are still for sale for $10 for anyone who wants one. Big thanks to Megan Byrnes and the Rotary Club for getting the event together.

Call for a Cure Benefit Concert showcased numerous Cranford High talents playing in memory of Colin. The concert served to raise awareness and funds to combat Ewing sarcoma through the Friends of Colin. Major thanks to organizers Cara Costa and Danny Rahal for their hardwork, support, and commitment to the Friends of Colin mission!
